Logo & Branding Design for York Businesses & Brands

I’m a freelance logo and branding designer in York. I’ll ensure your company or brand makes the right impression.

I’ll design a logo or visual brand identity that resonates with your target audience, captures the essence of your business or brand, and makes a memorable impression.

If you’re planning a full social media marketing assault using Facebook and Instagram then I also design and produce branded social media templates to give your company that ultra-slick, consistent look across all customer touchpoints.

A well-designed logo and consistent brand identity do more than just look pretty—they build trust, create recognition, and convey professionalism. For small businesses, it’s often these subtleties that make the difference between standing out and blending in.

Discovery Phase

Creating a logo or visual identity is more than just picking colours and typefaces—it’s about understanding what makes your business unique and translating that into a design that speaks for your business or brand.

We’ll kick things off by digging into your brand’s purpose, values, target audience and competitors. We’ll also explore how you’d like your brand or business to be perceived and where your branding will need to be applied.

I’ll also work with you to understand any specific requirements or stylistic preferences you have, ensuring we’re both on the same page before a single line is drawn.

Logo & Branding Design Phase

Based on the discovery findings, I’ll create a cohesive logo and visual identity that reflect your business or brand’s personality.

Each element—whether it’s a bold logomark or a minimalist wordmark—is crafted to become the memorable face of your business or brand and to differentiate it from your competitors.

Solution Presentation Phase

Once the design is ready, I’ll present it to you via a pre-recorded video walkthrough.

I’ll present one logo (or one complete visual brand identity solution) and invite you to provide feedback.

Why do I present only one? The Discovery Phase provides me with all the information I need to create the right solution for your business or brand.

Along with hearing my rationale for the proposed solution, you’ll also see mockups showing how the brand identity works in various real-world applications, to help you see the visual identity in action.

Feedback & Revision Phase

Armed with a copy of the presentation, you’ll have time to absorb my proposed solution and then provide me with your feedback.

Feedback is a big part of the logo and branding design process, and I’ll incorporate your comments to provide a revised version to ensure the identity is true to the values of the brand and also feels right for you.
