Boutique Opticians Website: A Branded Online Presence
Project Overview
Prior to launch, Rae & Rae Opticians approached me to assist them with every aspect of the brand collateral for their new business on York’s popular ‘Bishy’ (Bishopthorpe) Road.
Rae & Rae were very clear about their website content so it was over to me to apply the visual identity I’d freshly designed to their online presence and make suggestions regarding site architecture, navigation and in some cases content and copywriting.
I commissioned an illustrator to provide the images that Rae & Rae were keen to accompany their copy and provided Rae & Rae’s marketing team with graphic templates to enable them to update their frames range pages themselves.
Although search engine position isn’t something I can guarantee, I work hard to ensure that the sites I build will be received favourably by Google and other search engines. Within a year of launch, the Rae & Rae website consistently hovers around the top of page one Google search results for ‘York Opticians’ above the major chains and established independent York opticians 😃.
