Project Overview

The Travel Retail data, analytics and consultancy company I was employed at as the full-time in-house graphic designer was acquired by American market research and analytics company The NPD Group*. The acquisition soon led to a rebrand of our business to NPD Travel Retail and all material we produced had to follow the comprehensive NPD brand guidelines.

Pre- and post-switchover date, I liaised heavily with the NPD corporate design and marketing departments in New York to ensure that all existing material and any upcoming material published in print or online conformed to NPD brand guidelines — both visual and written.

Not long after the switchover, the design team at NPD corporate were confident in my ability to work within the guidelines without their assistance or pre-approval of any material I produced.

*NPD has since merged with IRI Worldwide to become Circana.

“I had the opportunity to work with Colin on an acquisition and rebrand on a global scale, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Colin innately ‘gets it.’ From project inception to completion, Colin is a team player, a collaborative coworker, and an excellent designer.”

Jennifer Marrioti, Executive Creative Director & Brand Strategist, NPD & Circana
