Midsummer Festival Branding: Celebrating Saint John’s Eve

Project Overview

Along with the business directory website, the ‘Discover Goodramgate' initiative includes street festivals and events to help bring awareness of the local businesses, eateries, and pubs and cafes that can be found in the northern area in the city of York, UK.

Goodramgate Traders Association, the people behind the initiative approached me to design the identity and publicity material for The Saint John’s Eve Midsummer Celebrations — a celebration on the eve of the feast day of Saint John the Baptist and one that’s associated with Midsummer festivities where traditions include bonfires, feasting, processions, church services, and gathering wild plants.

Upon approval of the design concept, I produced print-ready artwork that was used for the production of posters and flyers.
