Project Overview

SIghtcare Opticians was looking to redesign their website and came to me looking for a more bespoke solution than they’d previously had. For their website redesign they wanted to reduce the amount of generic content in favour of a focus on their core services, their year-round deals and offers, an improved showcase of their frames range and transparency on their pricing policy.

As part of my discovery phase, it was clear that Sightcare was well-regarded in both the communities where they had branches so I was keen to ensure that customer comments were displayed prominently on the site to show visitors what a great service James and his team provided.

As part of the website project, I suggested that they expand their visual identity beyond just their current logo and blue colour. This would ensure that the website would be visually consistent with any future marketing material across all customer touchpoints. The new typography scheme and expanded colour palette used on the website can also be found on their window display posters, glasses cloths and in-store TV slideshow presentations.

I provide ongoing support for the website in the form of occasional information updates, seasonal sales promotions and annual updates to the frames range.
